Maxine Esteban’s Olympic journey advances, with ANTA
Philippines’ support
Since 2022, Anta Philippines has been
a longtime fan and partner of Olympic fencer Maxine Esteban. From her earlier
years competing for Ateneo in the UAAP until today, Maxine has shown the spirit
of tenacity and hard work with each step forward in her career. As Maxine
ventures further in her fencing journey in the upcoming Paris Olympics, Anta
Philippines continues its unwavering support.
Qualifying for the Paris Olympics is
a remarkable achievement and a dream come true for Maxine, as she was
recovering from an ACL injury. It was her fighting spirit and perseverance that
helped as she diligently went through rehabilitation to get back on her feet.
With persistent determination and training, she was able to return quickly to
competitive fencing and show off her skills once again.
Continuing to show her fencing
prowess, she recently won a silver medal in the 22nd African Fencing
Championships in Casablanca, Morocco. This impressive feat led to Maxine
climbing up the foil world rankings, becoming the 35th-world ranked fencer.
Thriving from this recent accomplishment, Maxine continues to ramp up great
momentum leading to the Paris Olympics next month. Every victory of Maxine is a
tribute to both her Filipino and Ivorian roots, which proudly inspires her in
each competition.
As Maxine forges ahead in her training for the
Olympics, she proudly wears ANTA apparel that are both comfortable and dynamic.
